Laser
Therapeutics Is Proud to Present the Maestro Therapy Laser
System Featuring the laser of the new advanced MDTL (Menu
Driven Therapy Laser) generation meeting even the highest
demands of laser therapists :
THE MEDICOM MAESTRO IS FDA CLEARED FOR CERTAIN TYPE PAIN
CONDITIONS. ALL OTHER USES OF THE DEVICE ARE INVESTIGATIONAL AND
THE MEDICAL PRACTITIONER MUST PARTICIPATE IN A CLINICAL
TRIAL UNDER IRB GUIDELINES AND SUPERVISION.
Key features of
the Maestro

Two
laser probes can be connected
to the unit simultaneously.
One laser probe for point
therapy together with an auxiliary scanner for large area
applications can be connected to the unit simultaneously.
Available FDA cleared probes are the 830 (IR)nm. The
probes feature adjustable power from up to 450mW down to
10mW with only one probe!
Simple operation and maximum
protection. Complete computer controlled therapy treatment
parameters are stored
in main memory. The therapist can also develop and store
additional therapy parameters in the Maestro's main memory
for easy recall and use. It features an exclusive
Electronic key lock for security. It is
highly transportable with its travel case.
Available Accessories:

CCM INFRARED
Laser Probe 830 nm
These high power probes have the
ability to penetrate deep into the tissue (average 5 and
more cms). Available in power outputs of 300 and 450 mW and
the power output is fully adjustable.
Maestro Laser
Scanner "LineScan"

|

The
Maestro "LineScan" is used for the automatic
applications of laser therapy on larger body surfaces.
It saves the therapist both time and effort because it
is highly effective with a minimum of operator
intervention. It features:
-
An even
irradiation of the treatment area with the
application of accurate energy dosages.
-
Frequency
modulation that is incrementally adjustable for the
chosen diagnosis.
-
Continuous
wave as well as pulsed frequency mode.

Frequently Asked
Questions...
...is laser therapy safe?
Laser therapy is
completely safe. The FDA has classified most class 3b low level laser
therapy devices as "non-significant risk medical devices"
They pose no health risk to the patient provided that
protective eyewear is worn. THIS IS ESSENTIAL FOR THE SAFE
USE OF THE DEVICES! Normal precautions should be followed
like with any medical procedure. All of our laser therapy
devices are supplied with two sets of protective eyewear.
...which
probes are recommended ?
MediCom manufacturers different types of CCM Laser Probes to provide the therapist
with the best possible laser source. The therapist can choose the probe with the
most suitable output and not be dependent on
"universal" parameters of a standard laser unit.
...can two probes work
simultaneously ?
No. Although two laser probes, or a
laser probe for point therapy and a scanner for large area
treatment, can be connected to the unit simultaneously, the
therapist may work with only one probe at a time.
...what power
output is the best one ?
The most important parameter of a
laser probe is its wavelength which determines the depth of
penetration. Lower output may be, to a certain extent,
balanced by longer time of exposure. Higher output is
recommended for IR laser probes that are required to
penetrate deeply for pain management and in treating
musculoskeletal conditions.
...what are the presets then
good for ?
They offer the researcher the
ability to store custom therapy parameters developed based
upon the individual condition or needs of the patient or for
repeating specialized treatment of the same patient. By
entering custom protocols into memory, you save time and
effort and assure accurate repetition of treatment
parameters.
...what accessories can your
MAESTRO be equipped with ?
Besides the CCM Laser
Probes
additional electronic
keys and additional protective eyewear.
